透過天主教版中文聖經學習中文的創意工具
Watch the video below!
I built Fluent by 1000 as a personal project to supercharge my Chinese learning. It lets me explore the Chinese Catholic Bible interactively — click any traditional character in a verse and an AI (powered by openai/gpt-oss-20b, an open source version of ChatGPT, relying on Groq as a provider) will explain its meaning and usage in context 💡. On top of that, I computed myself a custom frequency list of every Traditional character in the Bible, so I can focus on the top 1000 most common characters first.
我建立了「Fluent by 1000」這個個人專案來加速我的中文學習。它讓我能夠互動式地閱讀天主教版中文聖經:在每節經文中點擊任何一個繁體字,AI(由 ChatGPT 驅動)就會解釋該字在上下文中的意思與用法 💡。此外,我還為整本聖經的所有繁體字建立了一個自訂的頻率列表,讓我可以專注於最常見的 1000 個字來學習。
- 📖 Interactive Bible Explorer: Dive into the Chinese Catholic Bible by book and chapter. Click on any traditional character in the text to get an instant explanation in context.
- 🤖 AI-Powered Explanations: A GPT-powered AI (
gpt-oss-20b) explains each character’s meaning and role in clear English. It’s like having a personal tutor for every word! - 🎓 Frequency Flashcards: A custom flashcard page highlights the top 1000 characters from the Bible (by frequency). Focusing on these most common words boosts learning efficiency.
Built for my own Chinese practice, this app pairs verses from the Chinese Catholic Bible with instant, character-by-character AI explanations. A frequency list I compiled from the entire corpus keeps study focused on the most useful characters. It’s the kind of tool I wished existed — so I made it.
為了自己的中文練習,我做了這個應用,將天主教中文版聖經的經文與即時的逐字 AI 解釋配對。我從整本經文中製作了字頻表,讓學習集中在最有用的字上。這是我想要卻找不到的工具——於是自己動手做了。
