I do blue team work, SOC, NOC, and enough red team stuff to know what I'm actually defending against and sometimes I fix AI slop by breaking AI slop. I write my own tools when the existing ones are bad, which is often. everything runs on linux and unix (most of the time), everything is free and open source, that's not up for debate.
