Considering that we might want to have this template be used with Stage 1B, this should be changed to the V3 vendordep instead of the V2 vendordep. The REV template should also have a V3 vendordep

I copied the stage 1a solution code and removed all the the code students are expected to write as part of 1a. Almost everything got removed except for the simulation classes.
Closes #28 and #26
