A modern, PWA-enabled platform for buying, selling, and exchanging used books. Built with Next.js, Firebase, and Tailwind CSS.

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/Saheb142003/Book-Reselling-App.git
    cd Book-Reselling-App
  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  3. Set up Environment Variables: Create a .env.local file in the root directory and add your Firebase config:

    NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_API_KEY=your_api_key
    NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=your_auth_domain
    NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID=your_project_id
    NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET=your_storage_bucket
    NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID=your_sender_id
    NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_APP_ID=your_app_id
  4. Run the development server:

    npm run dev
  5. Open the app: Visit http://localhost:3000 in your browser.

Deployment

The app is ready to be deployed on Vercel.

  1. Push your code to GitHub.
  2. Import the project in Vercel.
  3. Add the environment variables in the Vercel dashboard.
  4. Deploy!
