CYD P1 connector RX/TX

I've seen questions asked about the TX/Rx pins on the P1 connector of the CYD. The schematics show these pins connected to GPIO 34 and 35. How do we use these pins? Are they connected in parallel to the main USB port or can they be used separately? Is there a pass-thru mode in the CH340C that needs to be enabled. I have not seen or found any info on successfully using these pins for anything.

As you say, on the schematics these are connected to GPIO 34 and 35. You could use them for 3.3V Serial as long as you don't need the USB. Try a basic Arduino Serial sketch to test them.
