README.md lists additional storage options beyond initramfs for some guest/hypervisor combinations. For example, the supported platforms table mentions storage types such as Block/Devmapper, 9pfs, and Virtiofs.
However, docs/hypervisor-support.md states that only initramfs is supported for both QEMU and Firecracker.
