Description

We currently use Linktree for our Instagram “link in bio,” but this can be replaced with a simple static page on our website. This would allow us to centralize everything, reduce dependency on third-party tools, and make it easier for marketing to update links.

Requirements

1. “Link in Bio” Page (Replace Linktree)

• Create a simple static page on our website that:
  • Displays a list of links corresponding to recent Instagram posts
  • Includes link titles (e.g., post titles or short descriptions)
  • Includes links to all ACM social platforms
• Marketing team should be able to update links easily via:
  • A simple non-technical interface
• Should integrate with upcoming link shortener (if available)
  • if simple enough, you should also tackle the link shortener in one go Link Shortener #794

2. Functionality / UX

• Mobile-first design (since most traffic is from Instagram)
• Clean, minimal UI similar to Linktree
• Fast load time (static page preferred)
• Optional: support for link previews or thumbnails (nice-to-have)

Acceptance Criteria

• Linktree is no longer needed for Instagram bio
• New “link in bio” page is live and accessible
• Marketing can update links without developer involvement
• All social links are included on the page
