First of all: great work! I am really happy that Stekker provided this S2-ruby library.
The current version uses json schema definition that contain deviations from the official S2 standard and the json schemas. Could you please revert those additions from this library such that it can be used by others as well?
If this has been resolved, I'll also add it to the S2 Documentation.
