Site not working as expected

Bug

I'm trying to use the site to upgrade my project but it's not showing any changes. It doesn't seem to be working regardless of what versions I enter.

React Native versions

0.76.9 to 0.77.3

Steps to reproduce

Go to site, add versions above in the dropdowns and press "Show me how to upgrade!"

Describe what you expected to happen:

I expect to see files that need changing in the section below.

I am also seeing the same thing. When I try to download the file, I get the error:

400: Invalid request

Looks like the fetchDiff in src/hooks/fetch-diff.ts is creating this URL: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/react-native-community/rn-diff-purge/diffs/diffs/0.76.9..0.77.3.diff which is resulting in a 404

I think for now, the simplest solution is to compare the diff on rn-diff-purge repo: react-native-community/rn-diff-purge@version/0.76.9...version/0.77.3

https://github.com/react-native-community/rn-diff-purge/blob/diffs/diffs/0.76.9..0.77.3.diff is viewable but the raw file is not.

Turns out I actually have to upgrade to 0.78 so I tried https://react-native-community.github.io/upgrade-helper/?from=0.76.9&to=0.78.3 and that works fine. So I guess the issue must be with some of the diffs on https://github.com/react-native-community/rn-diff-purge.

Turns out I actually have to upgrade to 0.78 so I tried https://react-native-community.github.io/upgrade-helper/?from=0.76.9&to=0.78.3 and that works fine. So I guess the issue must be with some of the diffs on https://github.com/react-native-community/rn-diff-purge.

Doesnt work for me, whichever version I choosed it doesnt render the diffs

The issue is with https://github.com/react-native-community/rn-diff-purge repository it's neither api subdomain working nor raw.githubusercontent.com domain is working. This helper is highly depends on the raw.githubusercontent.com urls.
Currently https://github.com/react-native-community/rn-diff-purge/compare/release/0.73.6..release/0.80.2 this kind of urls can be work for us get the diffs replace the versions according to our preferences.

Also the upgrade-helper team can utilize this url pattern as well by just adding .diff at the end. I was about to raise a PR with that pattern for a fix. But It also depending on one file for that is RELEASES which is also on the rn-diff-purge repo which is causing the issue.

The working alternative raw.githubusercontent.com url diff example pattern is

It’s working locally for me, but the binary files hosted (e.g. gradle-wrapper.jar) are still not downloadable:
