Behaviour

After closing the app, discord asks again for login credentials

Steps to reproduce this issue

1. Login into discord
2. Close the app
3. Re-open the app

Login maintained after the first time

After closing the app, discord asks again for login credentials

I just had the same problem and fixed it by completely removing the %APPDATA%\discord folder from my device (I had discord uninstalled but it seems like it didn't delete that folder). When I executed the portable afterwards it instantly logged me in without requiring me to login again so it does indeed save the session but does not know how to handle two different session keys it looks like.
