# Okta
2+
3+
The Okta plugin provides a means to synchronize your NetAuth server
4+
with Okta. This allows you to easily use Okta to provide SAML and
5+
OIDC services with the same credentials that the rest of your
6+
environment uses.
7+
8+
Install it like all plugins by placing it in your server's plugin
9+
directory, and add a configuration stanza to your server configuration
10+
file as follows:
11+
12+
```
13+
[plugin.okta]
14+
token = "<api_token>"
15+
domain = "<domain>"
16+
orgurl = "<sign_on_url>"
17+
interval = "<sync_interval>"
18+
```
19+
20+
The API token can be obtained from the Okta interface in the bottom of
21+
the Security drop down. Your sign on URL is the URL you sign on to
22+
Okta including the `http` prefix. The domain is the URL that entities
23+
will be concatentated to when creating Okta accounts. The Okta
24+
accounts will be of the format `<ID>@<domain>`. Finally the interval
25+
is how frequently to synchronize the information to Okta.
