Install Codex with Bedrock

I try to install Codex with bedrock (Version 1.19.1.01)

1. download bedrock.zip (Version 1.19.1.01) , unpack to /srv/bedrock
2. Download MinecraftCodex into /srv/MinecraftCodex
3. Add in gulpfile.js (in /srv/MinecraftCodex): const dedicatedServerPath = "/srv/bedrock/"; - successful
4. Create ./scripts/vars.ts with parameters. - successful
5. cd /srv/MinecraftCodex and run npm install - successful
6. cd /srv/MinecraftCodex and run gulp updateconfig && gulp updateserver && gulp updateworld - successful
7. cd /srv/MinecraftCodex and run gulp serve - unsuccessful

Error reading file: server.properties
Could not load server.properties file, Please check if the current working directory is the same as the bedrock_server directory.

It tries to find server.properties in /srv/MinecraftCodex even though this config is in /srv/bedrock

Where did I make a mistake?

Hm, are you sure it's not looking in the right directory, did you debug the gulp output? Can you attach your gulpfile so I can help you figure it out?

I use gulpfile with default values and only change specialServerPath in it.

Ah ok. I think I know what this is. Try running the server from command line without gulp serve bu going into the server dir and running the program. Wait for it to finish losding (you will see the IP addresses come up). Shut it down, then try running gulp serve. I think that should work

yes, I tried, but unsuccessfully
its seems to me that gulp does not change working directory to bedrock , but it should

Is the server directory writeable? After you manually run the server, do you see a server.properties file created in its dir?

Also, what OS/terminal are you using?

Yes, read and write access is available.
I build using ubuntu(WSL2 sh) and also tried under docker. (same problems)
Windows doesn't have this problem, when running in Windows(Powershell) everything works.

I ran as user root (in ubuntu system and docker)
Yes, I use the bedrock/Codex service on Windows.
but it would be more convenient to run in docker and using kubernetes

You can do the following:

1. Donwload MinecraftCodex into ./Dockerfile-assets/MinecraftCodex
2. Edit ./Dockerfile-assets/MinecraftCodex/gulpfile.js (change: const dedicatedServerPath = "/srv/bedrock/";)
