I think it was like that forever. As tteck also was having a ko-fi page, so i guess we didn't want to make people to change to something unfamiliar to them already... I guess this is more of a question for @MickLesk as he is the one dealing with the donations |

All I know is that I am unable to contribute to a worthy cause due to
the methods chosen to receive such contributions. Then there's the need
for anything online to remain anonymous.
Bottom line: I'll contribute if I can do it with Monero if it's KYC
free, that means you don't ask my name, phone number, email address, or
any other personally identifiable information. Third party payment
processors are all KYC, so creating your own Monero crypto wallet is the
only way to maintain private transactions.
