How to change music between a Zone's acts?

I'm generally a newcommer to Godot, but I wanted to know how I can make it so each level has a different music. I know the basics on how to replace it, but for some reason, each time I do a change of music is linked to both acts 1 and 2, and I want both of them to be different tracks.

There's an @exported variable in Level.gd that explicitly defines the music. If you want to have these two to be separate tracks, you should be able to drag and drop your music files into the slot in the Godot editor.

I would recommend learning the ins and outs of Godot just in case in the scenario you have stated, as Godot does have certain concepts that are necessary to understand.

I have been experimenting with the Test Levels found in the normal engine. But they pretty much share the same level.gd file from the looks of it. Or am I missing something? I've tried many things but I can't seem to hit the spot.

Each node has its own separate instance of an attached script. They use the same variables and functions, but each node has its own place in memory, so each node has its own script attached to it. This is even the case for nodes without any script attached, as they will simply refer to what kind of node they are, and any inherited classes.

ULTimate034: The level.gd is a script that attaches to the root node of your level scene. You only need that one level.gd script for every level in the game.
To change the music, select the node containing the level.gd script, and then look on the right side of the screen, at the Inspector. One of the things below the "level.gd" section is "Music". To change it, all you need to do is find your OGG file in the FileSystem tab, and click and drag it over the waveform preview you see.

Ah, okay okay, I see it more clearly now.

Albeit something I don't get is why the Inspector of Base Zone 2 looks empty when I interact with it, but Base 1 has everything mentioned. Sorry if I'm looking like an ignorant.

BaseZone1 should be considered the more complete reference most of the time. I cobbled baseZone2 together in a very short amount of time mostly just to function as a playground for some gimmicks I was working on.
