Service identity information is stored internally in multiple locations. When you use the tool, all references are updated accordingly whenever you change the account or password. The [!INCLUDE[ssRSnoversion](../../includes/ssrsnoversion-md.md)] Configuration Manager performs the following extra steps to ensure the report server remains available:
