The original author has updated the files on the original website:

and the files in this repo are behind.

I wonder if run.bat should automatically pull the latest file and replace them, so that the players will always get the latest binary. Thanks!

We've updated it since then, but it would be good to automatically pull the latest. Unfortunately I don't have the time right now to figure that out.
