- Not that much smaller.
tmb is already small and is a more general/abstracted reference identifier.tmb already works well as a pattern for post-quantum which has much larger keys.- Compressed public keys are not implemented universally. Uncompressed seems to be the most compatible.
x may be cryptographically significant for key security while tmb is not.
