While assigning devices to hierarchy, clicking on device name breaks the flow

Try to create a hierarchy. While adding assets, try to assign device and click on any device name. You will notice that the whole flow breaks as soon as you click on the device name and there is no way to go back

One workaround could be clicking on device name should open the device page in next tab.

It is as per the Cumulocity design followed while creating the new groups through Cockpit. While assigning to the devices, if user wants to know more about the device, then clicking on the device name, a message is displayed with a link and on clicking the link, page navigates to Device Management application in new tab.
If user wants to navigate back to the default assets page, then click on the assets in the left navigation pane else click on go back (<-), to navigate to create assets page. In case if user wants to assign the devices, then he/she has to click on the checkbox and click on assign button.

While this is an existing behavior since the initial design, this can be considered as an enhancement for better user experience and same will be notified to the Cumulocity core team
