This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community. Examples of representing a project or community include using an official project e-mail address, posting via an official social media account, or acting as an appointed representative at an online or offline event.
If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it by contacting the project team at: opensourceweekend@gmail.com
All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality to the extent possible. When you report an incident, please include as much of the following information as you can:
- A description of the incident and any supporting evidence (screenshots, links, etc.)
- The time and date of the incident (or an approximate time window)

The project team will acknowledge receipt of a report within a reasonable timeframe, will investigate the matter, and will respond with actions the team deems appropriate to the circumstances. Possible responses may include a private warning, temporary or permanent removal of contributor privileges, or contacting relevant authorities if the behavior is criminal.
- Reports will be initially assessed by the project maintainers or an appointed conduct committee.
- The project team will evaluate the credibility and severity of the report and may request additional information from reporters or witnesses.
- If an allegation is substantiated, the project team will determine appropriate corrective actions, which may include private warnings, removal of access to project resources, or removal from the project team.
- The project team will attempt to protect the privacy and safety of all parties involved while balancing the need for transparency for the broader community when appropriate.
